These terms apply to all services provided by Iron Will Solutions, including junk removal, handyman work, debris cleanup, and home prep.
Handyman & Home Services – Terms & Conditions
(An addendum to Iron Will Solutions’ Standard Terms)
1. Scope of Work
Iron Will Solutions provides general handyman and home services, including but not limited to minor repairs, interior and exterior trim work, drywall patching and finishing, painting, power washing, seasonal maintenance, and home prep for resale. All work will be carried out as per the approved scope outlined in the estimate or work order. We do not perform licensed electrical or plumbing work and will refer clients to trusted professionals for those services.
2. Estimates and Scope Adjustments

All estimates are valid for 14 calendar days unless otherwise specified.

The quoted price is based on information available at the time of estimate.

Any changes to scope, materials, or access conditions may result in an adjusted estimate.

Additional work must be approved in writing (text, email, or signature) before proceeding
3. Materials and Supplies

Materials purchased by Iron Will Solutions are included in the total cost unless otherwise stated.

If clients opt to supply their own materials, Iron Will Solutions is not responsible for material defects, shortages, or delays.

Custom or specialty materials may require full or partial prepayment.
4. Payment Terms

Payment is due upon job completion unless otherwise agreed upon in writing.

A deposit may be required for jobs over $500 or involving significant material purchases.

Payments can be made via e-transfer, cheque, or other approved method.

ate payments are subject to a 5% fee per 14-day period past due.
5. Cancellations and Scheduling

Clients must provide at least 24 hours’ notice for cancellations or rescheduling.

Cancellations with less than 24 hours’ notice may incur a $75 cancellation fee.

If weather or external conditions delay outdoor work, Iron Will Solutions will reschedule at the earliest mutually agreeable date.
6. Client Responsibilities
Clients are expected to:

Provide safe, unobstructed access to the work area.

Ensure the worksite is clear of personal items, breakables, and valuable possessions.

Inform us of any structural, water, pest, or mold issues prior to beginning work.

Keep children and pets safely away from work areas at all times.
7. Warranties and Workmanship

We stand by our work. Workmanship is covered under a 30-day limited warranty from completion.

Warranty covers issues directly related to the service provided and does not apply to pre-existing conditions, damage caused by others, or natural wear and tear.

Cosmetic results (paint finish, texture match, etc.) may vary depending on the condition of surfaces.
8. Permits and Code Compliance

For minor repairs and upgrades, building permits are generally not required.

If a permit is required for your project, it is the client’s responsibility to obtain it unless otherwise agreed upon in writing.

Iron Will Solutions follows Ontario Building Code best practices where applicable.
9. Liability and Insurance

Iron Will Solutions is fully insured for general liability and property damage.

Our maximum liability is limited to the cost of the service provided.

We are not responsible for incidental damages or delays caused by circumstances beyond our control, including client-supplied materials or hidden conditions.
10. Job Site Conditions and Safety
-
If worksite conditions are unsafe or significantly differ from those discussed during quoting, work may be paused until the issue is resolved.

Additional fees may apply for delays or additional work caused by unexpected jobsite conditions (e.g., mold, water damage, pest activity, rot, or unsafe structures).

We reserve the right to decline or stop work if conditions present a safety risk to workers or occupants.
Client Acknowledgement & Acceptance
By accepting a quote, scheduling service, or signing a work order with Iron Will Solutions, the client agrees to the Terms and Conditions outlined above and those stated under our Standard Service Agreement. These terms are binding unless otherwise amended in writing and signed by both parties.

Customer Disposal Contract
This contract is entered into on --/--/---- between Iron Will Solutions (the “Service Provider”) and (the “Customer”). This document outlines the mutual responsibilities of both parties regarding the disposal of items.
1. Customer Responsibilities
The Customer confirms they:
- Have the legal right to dispose of all items provided for removal.
- Will not include prohibited materials such as explosives, firearms, toxic chemicals, asbestos, biohazardous waste, or any items restricted by law.
- Accept full liability for the contents of all items provided and any legal or financial consequences arising from their inclusion.
2. Service Provider Responsibilities
Iron Will Solutions agrees to:
- Dispose of accepted items responsibly in compliance with all laws and regulations.
- Prioritize recycling and donation whenever possible.
Limitations: The Service Provider is not responsible for verifying the contents of sealed or concealed items.
3. Indemnification
The Customer agrees to indemnify and hold harmless Iron Will Solutions, its employees, and contractors from any claims, damages, or liabilities arising from the nature of the disposed materials.
4. Agreement Confirmation
By signing this contract, both parties acknowledge their understanding and acceptance of the outlined terms.
